Job Description
TPF Recruitment are recruiting for an excellent firm of chartered accountantswho are looking for a Senior Accountant/ Accounts Senior to join their team. This is a really excitingopportunityto join a fantastic local firm ofaccountants at a key part of their growth journey.
Our client is a general practice firm of accountants providing a mix of services to a local businesses across Surrey, Sussex and the South East. They promote a relaxed environment where there is little expectation for over time and they promote a great work life balance.
You will be based near Redhill and you will be responsiblefor:
- Managing and being the primary contact for clients across a variety of industries
- Preparation of statutory accounts to partner review.
- Auditing clients accounts as part of a team ( Audit experience isnt essential as training will be provided).
- Preparation of management accounts to partner review.
- Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns to partner review.
- Reviewing junior staffs work
- Advising clients with general tax / accounting / software queries
Requirements
- ACA/ ACCA qualified, or nearly qualified, or qualified by experience
- 3+ years experience within an accountancy practice
- General practice experience across accounts and tax
- Audit experience would be advantageous but isnt a prerequisite
Benefits
- 35,000 - 45,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
