Contract Solutions Architect - Global ERP Transformation
Yorkshire HQ - 2/3 days a week
6 Months, OUTSIDE of IR35

WRK digital are partnered with a thriving global business that are seeking a Contract Solutions Architect for an initial 6 month contract, outside IR35, as the business embark on an exciting ERP transformation programme.

As a Contract Solutions Architect you will work with a talented team to design and develop large scale architecture solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. Defining systems strategies and solution roadmaps from original idea to desired outcome while applying knowledge of modern and legacy IT systems affecting integrated processes, applications, data and technology to design solutions that positively impact the company.

Principal Responsibilities:

* Oversees and owns the Enterprise Architecture for important global systems, responsible for architecting both the target state and interim state architectures
* Conceptualises creative solutions, develops specifications, and presents solutions to senior leadership for inclusion in a global strategic plan.
* Performs planning, architectural development, modelling, analysis, and resource assessment and scheduling.
* Assesses the compatibility and integration of proposed architecture solutions to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.
* Supports change readiness initiatives as needed.
* Implements transitional architecture to achieve strategic roadmap.
* Evaluates technology and components against existing and future needs
* Champions enterprise effectiveness methodologies

Key Criteria:

* Significant Enterprise level design experience
* Worked on large scale, business transformation projects, including complex integrations, ideally involving the migration of a complex legacy landscape to a modern ERP architecture
* Exposure to modern tools & techniques (k8s, major cloud hyperscalers, agile, global large-scale eCommerce) and the cross-domain enterprise-grade processes that support these
* Extensive knowledge of architecture design across multiple domains incl. Finance, Supply chain & ERP.
* Good relationship building and communication skills and the ability to influence a variety of people across the business.
* History of Pragmatic & timely decision making
* Results driven - an agent for change who relishes working in a small strategic team to influence the trajectory of a multi-billion-dollar business.

This position is offering a hybrid working split of 2-3 days in their head office in Leeds and the remainder working remotely.
