Airport Services Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring weather conditions and communicating with other airport staff about potential problems that may arise due to weather conditions
• Receiving reports from pilots about any safety concerns or mechanical problems during flights
• Coordinating with mechanics to ensure that all repairs are completed in a timely fashion
• Conducting fire drills to ensure that all staff are familiar with evacuation procedures and know how to use fire extinguishers
• Training new staff members and ensuring that all employees are up to date on knowledge of safety policies and procedures
• Ensuring that security protocols are followed, including monitoring surveillance equipment and conducting pat downs of passengers
• Maintaining order in the airport by responding to grievances from passengers and enforcing rules such as dress codes and carry on baggage size limits
• Reviewing flight plans and airport maps to determine where planes should be parked during layovers
• Communicating with pilots about weather conditions or changes in flight schedules that could impact their travel plans
