Job Description
- Document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to understand product goal and identify system requirements
- Participate actively in Unit, Integration, API, and Regression testing
- Write test cases for each user journey
- Schedule automated tests to run periodically, monitor test results, analyze failures, and report issues
- Document test cases, corresponding results, and defects
- Review defect feedback for testing improvements
- Identify test scenario for automation
- Write and integrate automated REST API, Browser based tests
- Carry out Performance / Load / Stress and Security Testing
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs and monitor debugging process results
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defects
- Be familiar with testing tools and methodologies
- Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Minimum of 2nd class lower in first degree (Professional Qualifications is an advantage)
- Minimum of 2-3 years Software Testing experience
- Advanced knowledge of Software Testing theories and practices
- Good background in ICT industry, consulting, and business advisory
