About the company:
We are now in touch with a client in Qatar who is looking for both Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to join their team in the New Year in Qatar. The company has got many branches all over the world including UK, Poland, Dubai, Singapore and Qatar. The client can offer a long-term career opportunity to work on a prestigious project abroad. The team is growing due to the project influx and is now searching an Electrical Design Engineer to join them early 2021.
The role of a Mechanical Design Engineer:
* Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design and liaison with the all required authorities.
* The candidate must have intensive knowledge in pipelines hydraulics and designing of pressure pipelines, sewerage, rising mains, pumping station design and all aspects as may be required by the Client.
* Good understanding and previous experience in drainage, and hydraulic design of sewers. Carrying out work to agreed budgets and timelines.
* Assist with the preparation of cost estimates for project design and construction.
* Work in conjunction with engineers to solve project design problems, performing basic design calculations as required.
* Work under the direction of the Technical Lead.
* Conduct field inspections under the supervision of the Technical Lead, and Client Engineer representative.
* Liaison with teams working remotely from other parts of the world to facilitate completion of tasks, and project.
* Good communicator.
* Internal and external client liaison
* Ability to build and maintain lasting and positive relationships
* Experience in utility diversions and management
Qualifications:
* Graduate of Mechanical Engineering or Building Services from an accredited university.
* Minimum 7 years postgraduate exposure into the field of Building Services
* Consultancy background
* Ideally located in Qatar or willing to relocate to the country
* Possess appropriate technical background and ability to control the contractor's and subcontractors' conformance with the contract documents including drawings, specifications
