Piping Mechanical CAD Designer

• Prepare detailed design drawings and documentation for Piping/ Mechanical and process diagram related engineering modifications and projects within operations in order to support the timely delivery of project engineering deliverables while maintaining specifications, technical documents and following drawings: • Plot Plan • Equipment layout design • Prepare General Arrangement Drawings (GADs) • Prepare Isometrics from GADs • Prepare / Design Pipe Support Details • Undertakes pre-engineering site surveys • Produces material take-offs to ensure accurate account is taken of all component parts required to complete a project. • Develop piping models including studies and layouts • Help design products with engineering and manufacturing techniques. • Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers. • Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products. • Prepare and draw layouts that show the details for a wide variety of machinery and mechanical tools and devices etc. • Prepare and draw Process piping or pipeline plans used for the operation of oil and gas fields, refineries, chemical plants, and process piping systems. • Modify existing plant drawing, Plots and layout • Keep proper record of all transmittals receiving and delivering. • Completes any other tasks as needed or as directed by management. • Support in Departmental standardization activities
