Job Description
- Communicate with main pulpit operator regarding heat change, mill start/stoppage, synchronization with rolling mill and finishing area.
- Monitoring Constantly on Re-bar delivery from cooling bed to bundle picking and collecting area.
- Special attention to be given to the co-workers working at cooling bed area.
- Fill up the finishing pulpit logbook meticulously.
- Intimate the production shift in-charge regarding functioning of all.
- Complete setting of all the elements between finishing stand to cooling bed entry including pinch rolls, tail breakers, PQS and convey pipe etc.
- Maintain the uniform weight of bundles and quality of bundle tying.
- Ensure proper tag fixing to the bundle with correct details.
- Maintain correct discarded length through proper communication with main pulpit operator.
- Attend pass change, stand change and size change jobs whenever required.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and keeping equipment in order.
