Job Description
- Analyze and Establish a detailed application specification through discussion with customers
- Help in clarifying what actions the anticipated application or solution is intended to perform
- Break down application specification into its simplest elements and translating this logic into a programming language
- Assist in devising possible solutions to anticipated issues
- Work as part of a team, which may be established purely for a particular project, to write a specific section of the application
- Be part of the process of combining all elements of the program, researching and designing
- Evaluate the application or proposed solution system that effectively delivers customer requirement
- Assist in developing and enhancing existing applications by analyzing and identifying areas for improvement and modification
- Write operational documentation with technical authors
- Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure the delivered application or solution can be used easily, quickly and accurately
- Ensure the quality and accuracy in the test environment and installing the application into production environment
- Maintain systems by monitoring and correcting software defects
