About INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF LONDON QATAR
Since opening the doors to our first students in August of 2008, the International School of London Qatar has developed a reputation both locally and internationally as a pioneering educational institution, that is continually exploring the process of learning and considering what constitutes effective learning. As well as striving to develop the academic potential of each and every one of our students, our teachers are committed to the school mission statement which sets out our goal of developing a passion for life and learning that leads to the betterment of the world in which we live. Our teachers believe in the importance of exploring and developing the personal, social and cognitive skills that our children will need to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world. We seek to ensure that all pupils are equipped with the essential qualities of kindness, compassion, and respect for others; and that when each child leaves us they are skilled and confident in their ability to perform in a wide variety of contexts. With over 70 different nationalities in the school, diversity is a cornerstone of our school. The International School of London, Qatar is striving to offer a truly “international education”, but recognises that this is not simply a question of having different nationalities in the school.
