We are seeking a Sourcing Engineer to evaluate develop and optimize supplier performance. The role involves supplier audits negotiations and ensuring the highest standards in quality cost and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess current and potential suppliers through reviews site visits and audits.
- Negotiate pricing contracts and delivery terms to meet cost and quality objectives.
- Collaborate with Supplier Quality teams to resolve quality or delivery issues.
- Develop strategies to optimize supplier relationships and enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Maintain and update supplier records including certifications and performance metrics.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Supply Chain or related field.
- 3 years of experience in sourcing or procurement preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in supplier evaluation tools and quality management systems.
- Strong negotiation communication and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and cost optimization strategies.
