IT Infrastructure Analyst- Saudi Arabia

Our client in Saudi Arabia is seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Analyst to join their IT Service Operations (ITSO) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting the company s IT infrastructure ensuring that systems and networks operate efficiently and securely. The IT Infrastructure Analyst will play a key role in the implementation maintenance and optimization of IT infrastructure systems collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor the organization s IT infrastructure including servers storage networks and cloudbased systems.
  
• Ensure the availability reliability and performance of IT systems by performing proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.
  
• Implement and support hardware and software installations upgrades and configurations for infrastructure systems.
  
• Respond to and resolve infrastructurerelated incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
  
• Conduct root cause analysis for infrastructure issues and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
  
• Collaborate with IT teams to address technical issues and ensure systems are restored to normal operations as quickly as possible.
  
• Implement security measures to protect the organization s infrastructure from cyber threats including firewalls encryption and access controls.
  
• Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  
• Assist in the development and enforcement of IT security policies and procedures.
  
• Continuously monitor system performance using appropriate tools identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective actions.
  
• Optimize infrastructure systems to ensure maximum efficiency and minimize downtime.
  
• Conduct capacity planning and resource allocation to support current and future business needs.
  
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including software developers network engineers and business units to ensure seamless integration and smooth operations.
  
• Provide technical support and guidance to other IT teams and endusers on infrastructurerelated matters.
  
• Assist in the management of IT projects ensuring that infrastructure requirements are met.
  
• Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations network diagrams and incident reports.
  
• Provide regular updates and status reports to management on infrastructure performance incidents and service improvements.
  
• Create and maintain operational procedures and knowledge base articles to support IT operations.
  
• Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
  
• Regularly test backup systems and disaster recovery plans to ensure they are effective and functional in case of emergencies.
  
• Stay uptodate with the latest trends and technologies in IT infrastructure and service operations.
  
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose solutions to enhance infrastructure efficiency and security.
  
• Suggest and implement new technologies and tools to improve IT service delivery.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
  
• Certifications such as ITIL CompTIA Network Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or similar are highly desirable.
  
• Minimum of 46 years of experience in IT infrastructure management with at least 2 years working in a service operations role.
  
• Handson experience with infrastructure systems including servers storage network devices and cloud platforms (AWS Azure etc.).
  
• Experience with monitoring tools incident management systems and IT service management (ITSM) platforms.
  
• Strong understanding of networking protocols server configurations virtualization technologies and cloud computing.
  
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining hardware operating systems (Windows Linux etc.) and infrastructurerelated applications.
  
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  
• Familiarity with security technologies and best practices (e.g. firewalls VPNs encryption).
  
• Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell Bash) is a plus.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
  
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders and provide guidance to team members.
