A highend restaurant located in Doha Qatar renowned for its fine dining experience and exceptional service offering a unique blend of French and Arabic cuisine is seeking a talented and innovative Pastry Chef to join their exceptional culinary team.The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exquisite desserts and pastries with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering the highest standards of quality. As a Pastry Chef you will play a key role in the creation and execution of a diverse range of decadent desserts and baked goods that complement the overall dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare a variety of highend pastries desserts and other baked goods to meet the restaurant s standards of excellence.
- Develop new and innovative dessert menus and presentation techniques keeping the offerings fresh and exciting for guests.
- Ensure all pastries and desserts are produced with precision using the finest ingredients and following the recipes to maintain consistency and quality.
- Supervise the pastry kitchen team providing guidance training and support as needed to ensure smooth operations and highquality results.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen ensuring all health and safety regulations including food handling are followed.
- Oversee inventory control for the pastry section ensuring adequate stock levels and managing orders of ingredients.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless integration of desserts into the overall menu and dining experience.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and incorporate new ideas to enhance the dessert offerings.
- Handle guest feedback related to desserts and make adjustments as necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Assist with the planning and preparation for special events private parties and seasonal menu changes.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene safety and sanitation in the pastry kitchen.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Hospitality / Diploma
Minimum of 35 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a fine dining or luxury restaurant environment.
Formal culinary education or apprenticeship in pastry or baking is preferred.
Strong knowledge of classical and modern pastry techniques and trends.
A creative and innovative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional desserts and pastries.
Leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a pastry team.
High attention to detail precision and quality in all aspects of pastry creation.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
