الوصف الوظيفي
Job Description for Transport Controller.
- Good Team Player and Multi Lingual Communication Skills.
- Capacity to check the condition of vehicle / truck / machine & understand its maintenance requirements.
- Liaise and control timely deployment of Drivers / Operators and resources.
- Track the locations and situations of vehicle / truck / machine and followup on the timely delivery of material.
- Track the fuel efficiency of vehicle / truck / machine and control any over consumption of fuel.
- Prepare daily performance reports and submit for review.
- Be able to recruit competent drivers & to ensure all trucks are allocated drivers.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree or diploma in Logistics Supply Chain Management Transport Management or a related field.
- Certification in fleet management systems is a plus.
- Minimum 23 years of experience in logistics fleet management or a related field.
- Familiarity with GPS tracking systems telematics and fleet management software.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills to interpret tracking data and generate insights.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with drivers managers and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word) and fleet tracking software.
- Good problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
- Understanding of vehicle maintenance and operations is a plus.
Work Environment:
- This role requires regular interaction with the fleet team operations managers and drivers.
- Some travel may be required for onsite vehicle inspections or issue resolution.
