Primary purpose of job
Create and lead a data management team and practice in collaboration with the business and the Digital team to capture

datadriven value ensuring the highest standards of data quality integrity and security across the organization.

• Manage skilled data team composed of senior Data Engineers Data Architects and Data platform Administrators to build

• Lead the implementation and monitoring of data operations (Cloud based data platform data pipeline automation data

• Define and develop data strategy including architecture engineering Cloud Data platforms and talent ensuring alignment

• Create data governance framework and lead its maturity including data ownership access controls data quality

• Manage finances related to Data Management including setting the annual budget quality of reporting and spend

• Champion datadriven culture where data is valued and utilized for information decision making across the businesses.
• Deliver use cases with measurable created value with the right prioritization on resource allocations.

Experience & Skills
Note: Candidates without recent experience in the Oil and Gas industry and Azure data foundations will not be considered.

• 15 years experience within the Energy industry.
• 8 Years of proven experience in data management preferably Oil and Gas.
• Strong understanding of Upstream and Downstream Data requirements.
• Strong Knowledge of Database systems BI Technologies Applications Architecture Information Security Principles.
• Experience leading teams in implementing and monitoring data operations (Cloudbased Data platform data pipeline

• Demonstrated ability to build and lead highperforming teams.
• Strategic partnership development with top data service providers.
