We are looking for an experienced passionate and dynamic Faculty Member in Critical Care Nursing to join our nursing faculty. This position involves teaching and mentoring nursing students in both classroom and clinical settings with a focus on critical care nursing. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing the next generation of nurses equipped to deliver care in highacuity environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and Educate: Provide highquality instruction in Critical Care Nursing including both classroom lectures and clinical training in ICU CCU and emergency care settings.
- Clinical Supervision: Mentor and supervise students during clinical rotations in critical care units ensuring they gain handson experience and develop the necessary skills for advanced clinical practice.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the design delivery and ongoing evaluation of the Critical Care Nursing curriculum to ensure it aligns with current best practices and accreditation standards.
- Student Support: Provide academic advising guidance and support to students throughout their nursing education. Foster an environment that encourages student engagement and success.
- Research and Professional Development: Engage in scholarly activities related to critical care nursing. Stay uptodate with the latest research trends and advancements in critical care and nursing education.
- Collaborative Work: Collaborate with faculty members healthcare professionals and clinical partners to enhance the quality of the nursing program and clinical placements.
Requirements
Master s Degree in Nursing (MSN) required; Doctoral degree (DNP or PhD) preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in critical care nursing (ICU CCU or Emergency Care).
Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) preferred or required within a designated time frame.
Prior teaching or mentoring experience is desirable.
Strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
