We are seeking a talented and passionate Commis III Pastry to join our culinary team in Doha Qatar. As a key member of our pastry department you will assist in creating delectable desserts and pastries that delight our guests and uphold our reputation for excellence.
- Prepare a wide variety of pastries desserts and baked goods according to recipes and standards
- Assist the Pastry Chef in daily operations including mise en place and production
- Ensure proper food handling sanitation and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Contribute creative ideas for new dessert menu items
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development
- Adapt to the local culinary scene while maintaining international standards
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas utensils and equipment
- Have full knowledge of all menu items daily features and promotions
- Ensure freshness and suitability of products used by the section and that they are stored properly.
- Report any equipment on the section requiring repairs and maintenance.
- Do daily routine tasks by himself and in conjunction with supervisor.
- Control costs by minimizing spoilage waste and exercising portion control.

Qualifications :
- 12 years of experience in a professional kitchen preferably in pastry
- Culinary diploma or certificate specializing in pastry (preferred)
- Current food safety certification
- Proficiency in pastry preparation techniques and baking skills
- Strong knowledge of various desserts and pastries
- Excellent knife skills and food presentation abilities
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced team environment
- Knowledge of ingredient interactions and baking chemistry
- Creativity and attention to detail in dessert preparation and presentation
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and local flavors
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
