Job Summary
Our client an Insurance Broker is seeking a Marketing Officer to support the company in promoting and selling insurance products. The Marketing Officer will be responsible for researching target audiences to identify their needs and challenges and devising strategies to address them effectively. This role involves meeting or exceeding monthly sales quotas through video meetings cold calls emails and social media outreach. The Marketing Officer will also track and document sales progress generate regular performance reports and present these findings to their supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Scouting for prospective clients (businesses and individuals)
- Explaining the pros and cons of all insurance packages to prospective clients
- Preparing tailored insurance offers for prospective clients that fit their specific needs
- Customizing insurance programs as needed to go the extra mile and further accommodate clients wishes
- Filling out application forms maintaining client records and creating periodical reports
- Revisiting old clients policies and checking if they need an update
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in an Insurance Company or Broker.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in Marketing and Sales
- A bachelor s degree in Marketing Finance Economics or similar fields
- Ability to establish and maintain successful client relationships
- Excellent understanding of insurance regulatory laws
- Computer literacy
- Experience working with databases/Google Workspace or Microsoft Office/CRM software/analytical software/automation tools
