Job Title: Procurement Officer
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Vendor Management: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with vendors.
- Purchasing and Delivery: Manage the purchasing process for goods and services ensuring quality and costeffectiveness.
- Budget Management: Monitor and manage procurement budgets and expenditures ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Compliance and Policy Adherence: Ensure that procurement practices comply with legal requirements and organizational policies.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about trends pricing and supplier capabilities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on procurement activities cost savings and supplier performance metrics.
- Risk Management: Identify risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Skills:
o Strong negotiation skills and financial acumen.
o Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
o Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
o Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Procurement Professional (CPP) or Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) are a plus.

Work Environment: This may involve working in an office setting coordinating with suppliers onsite or attending industry events.
