The Role
Opportunity for COO for an upcoming Hospital in Riyadh Experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead hospital operations in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare management operational excellence and strategic leadership. As the COO you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations enhancing patient care quality driving efficiency and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the hospitals operations ensuring alignment with the overall organizational goals. Oversee the daily operations of the hospital to ensure highquality patient care and operational efficiency. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that promote best practices and compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with the CEO and other senior leaders to define and execute the hospitals strategic plan. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and implement necessary improvements. Lead and mentor department heads to foster a culture of excellence accountability and continuous improvement. Ensure effective resource management including staffing budgeting and supply chain management. Establish and maintain strong relationships with physicians staff and stakeholders to enhance collaboration and communication. Drive initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and experience ensuring a patientcentered approach in all operations. Facilitate the hospitals compliance with all regulatory requirements accreditation standards and safety protocols. Represent the hospital in community and professional organizations promoting the hospitals mission and values.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare management with at least 5 years in a senior operational role. Proven track record of managing hospital operations demonstrating a strong understanding of clinical and administrative functions. Exceptional leadership interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to inspire and engage a diverse team. Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a focus on datadriven decisionmaking. Deep knowledge of healthcare regulations quality standards and accreditation processes. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that enhance operational performance and patient care. Experience in budget management and financial oversight with a strong understanding of the financial aspects of healthcare operations. Culturally sensitive and able to work effectively in a diverse environment with fluency in Arabic and English preferred. Passion for improving healthcare delivery and patient outcomes with a commitment to excellence in service.
