Prerequisite skills & training:
Regional Expertise:
Indepth knowledge of labor laws regulations and HR practices in the UAE. specific to the Gulf region particularly in country of operation
Demonstrated ability to stay current with changes in local employment laws and regulations.
Understanding of cultural nuances and business practices in the UAE.
Digital Proficiency:
- Advanced skills in HRIS platforms (e.g. Workday SAP SuccessFactors)
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Expert user of video conferencing and collaboration tools (e.g. Zoom Microsoft Teams Slack)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel for HR analytics
Remote Work Competencies:
- Proven ability to manage HR functions effectively in a remote setting
- Strong digital communication skills including the ability to convey complex information clearly in writing
- Selfmotivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management and organizational skills in a virtual environment
Strategic HR Skills:
- Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Ability to use data and analytics to inform HR decisionmaking
- Knowledge of best practices in remote employee engagement and performance management

Language Proficiency:
Fluent in English (both written and spoken)

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Management:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals tailored for the UAE and remote work environment
- Provide datadriven insights to senior management on HR metrics and trends
- Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in a remote setting
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Design and manage endtoend remote recruitment processes
- Develop targeted strategies to attract top talent in the Gulf region
- Conduct virtual interviews and assessments to select highcaliber candidates
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create compelling job descriptions.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations throughout the hiring process
Onboarding and Integration:
- Create and implement comprehensive remote onboarding programs.
- Develop culturally sensitive orientation materials specific to the UAE.
- Ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company culture despite physical distance.
- Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain high employee engagement in a remote environment
- Conduct regular pulse surveys and analyse results to inform HR initiatives
- Mediate conflicts and provide resolution strategies in virtual settings
Compensation and Benefits:
- Manage compensation and benefits programs in compliance with local laws and market practices
- Conduct regular market research to ensure competitive remuneration packages
- Communicate benefits information effectively to remote employees
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and develop virtual learning programs
- Implement elearning platforms and track completion rates
- Create career development pathways for remote employees
- Policy Development and Compliance:
- Develop implement and maintain HR policies aligned with local labor laws and company values
- Ensure all HR practices comply with the labor laws of the UAE.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with local regulations
- Stay informed about changes in employment law and update policies accordingly
HR Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize HRIS and other tools to generate meaningful HR reports and analytics
- Provide regular updates to management on key HR metrics and trends
- Use data to drive decisionmaking and strategy development
