Job Description
- Proactively researching and identifying sales opportunities generating leads target identification and classification.
- Maintain accurate customer records timely sales reporting and upkeep of the sales database consistently communicate through meetings telephone calls and emails.
- Plan and execute sales calls as scheduled in the Monthly Plan & make appropriate follow up.
- Meeting the guests and showcasing the features advantages & benefits of our facilities preparing the offer letters negotiating the prices making offers processing confirmations & closing sales.
- Assists the clients in choosing the venue and fixing the layout & floor plans. Prepare and distribute the function sheets.
- Communicating client requirements in a timely and accurate manner to all internal departments as required ensuring delivery of superior guest service.
- Conducts site visits for outside catering and present the property to the customers.
- Attends VIP functions whenever necessary.
- Strengthen relationships with existing and new customers industry organizations and brand networks to enable future bookings.
- Conducts Menu tasting events.
- Prepare event license requests.
- Understands competitor offerings and effectively sells the property and services competitive advantage.
- Participates actively in the compilation of the Meetings & Events Business Plan.
- Always liaise with team members and work as a team to reach targets set by the Meetings & Events Manager.
- Prepares Daily Activity Reports & submits them as per the direction of the Head of the Department.
- Perform Other Duties as assigned.
