We are seeking a detailoriented and experienced Procurement Quality Control Supervisor to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process and ensuring the quality of materials and supplies. As a Procurement Quality Control Supervisor you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards and efficiency within the procurement department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the procurement process to ensure timely and costeffective acquisition of materials and supplies.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the received materials meet industry standards and project requirements.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts terms and pricing to optimize procurement processes.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to identify and resolve any issues related to the quality of materials and supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities including supplier performance and quality control metrics.
- Provide guidance and support to the procurement team to ensure compliance with quality control procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in supply chain management business administration or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Procurement Quality Control Supervisor in the construction industry.
- Indepth knowledge of procurement processes quality control standards and supplier management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize procurement processes.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Certification in procurement or quality control is a plus.
