Industrial Electrician Supervisor

Our client is currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Industrial Electrician Supervisor at its underground zinc operation. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Industrial Electrician Supervisor with a desire to soar in their career.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the electrical team.
• Prioritize coordinate and layout work for the day.
• Inventory schedule and order materials and supplies for upcoming work.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing electrical components including PLC panels drives motors fans VFDs transformers pumps and generators.
• Work with 420 mA 4160 13.8 AC up to 480v 5kva DC voltages
• Read and follow prints.
• Assist the electrical team underground and on surface as needed.
• Capacity to develop knowledge of hoisting/crushing operations troubleshoot same.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial electrical experience.
• Minimum 3 years in leadership role.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other department managers and employees.
• Time management skills.
• PLC experience.
• DC/AC/Drive experience.
• Able to comprehend written and verbal instructions as required to perform his/her duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Must be able to perform the work without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of self or others due to the safety sensitivity of tasks.
• Ability to work in the US.
