Job Description
Our client is currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Industrial Electrician Supervisor at its underground zinc operation. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Industrial Electrician Supervisor with a desire to soar in their career.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the electrical team.
- Prioritize coordinate and layout work for the day.
- Inventory schedule and order materials and supplies for upcoming work.
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairing electrical components including PLC panels drives motors fans VFDs transformers pumps and generators.
- Work with 420 mA 4160 13.8 AC up to 480v 5kva DC voltages
- Read and follow prints.
- Assist the electrical team underground and on surface as needed.
- Capacity to develop knowledge of hoisting/crushing operations troubleshoot same.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial electrical experience.
- Minimum 3 years in leadership role.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other department managers and employees.
- Time management skills.
- PLC experience.
- DC/AC/Drive experience.
- Able to comprehend written and verbal instructions as required to perform his/her duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Must be able to perform the work without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of self or others due to the safety sensitivity of tasks.
- Ability to work in the US.
MUST HAVE
- 5 years of relevant industrial electrical experience.
- 3 years in a leadership role.
