Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and take vital signs.
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed.
• Assist with patient care activities such as wound care and catheterization.
• Provide patient and family education on healthcare needs and disease management.
• Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Assist in emergency medical situations and provide first aid care.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and report changes in patient conditions to the supervising nurse or physician.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
• Provides health care education inmates

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited vocational nursing program.
• Current LVN license in the state of Texas
• Current Basic Life Support (BLSHP)
• Must be IV Therapy Certified
• 1 year of Med/Surg LTAC experience.

• Full Time 5 Day & 2 Nights LVN positions
• The start time for these positions is between (0on days) and (on nights)
• Clearance documents will be sent to candidates during the Review stage
• 4:3 rotating schedule
