Job Title: Compliance Engineer
Reporting to: Group Financial Controller
Direct Subordinates:
Job main scope: To ensure the organizations products processes and operations adhere to relevant industry standards regulations legal requirements and company policies. The role includes reviewing and interpreting regulatory guidelines conducting risk assessments developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures performing audits and providing training to employees on compliance matters and working closely with various departments to address any noncompliance issues.
Minimum required educational level: Mechanical Civil or Electrical Engineering Degree
Minimum required experience: 4 to 6 years
Prerequisite skills & training:
- Minimum 46 years of experience in Audit and Compliance &/or Project Management (for example for Power Systems/ELV projects)
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (such as mechanical civil or electrical engineering)
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Certified Compliance Professional)
- Relevant exposure to job costing and procurement.
- Sound understanding of business processes.
- Prior experience in compliance auditing or a related field is an added value.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize plan and strategize.
- Ability to communicate at the senior management level.
