English as a Foreign Language teacher training company seeks a Digital PR Executive to work on all aspects of the online coverage of the companys brand in digital media.
You will grow the SEO teams efforts in earning backlinks mentions and press coverage in toptier and nicherelevant media helping us develop our domain authority and backlink growth as well as our EEAT efforts.
Collaborative able to generate strong working relationships with colleagues across several departments including Marketing SEO Editorial etc.
Able to think outside of the box finding angles relevant to quality publications or journalists to increase coverage of our content.
A continuous learner you strive to learn and improve your daytoday work keeping up to date with industry best practices and digital marketing trends.
Selfsufficient you come up with your ideas based on previous results or experience providing solutions instead of problems.
What youll be doing (responsibilities):
Devise smallscale outreach campaigns that are relevant to our brand and have preconsidered angles that can earn coverage.
Build lists and leverage your network to perform targeted outreach to get the coverage secured.
Reaching out to our inhouse writers to get expert comments on the opportunities youve surfaced.
Scour relevant tools the internet and social media to find relevant journalist requests to bring to our writers.
Be the gobetween and PR point of contact at TTA for journalists and our Writing team
Collaborating with our Writers to generate ideas for campaigns and outreach
How your success will be measured:
Number of links and coverage achieved
Number of reactive PR opportunities brought to the team
Site DR growth
Your skill set includes:
Youve earned links and coverage by conducting ongoing reactive PR activity and maintaining relationships with journalists and bloggers across the tech space.
Able to generate both reactive and proactive PR opportunities finding what works best and driving improvements.
Experienced in using several Digital PR tactics utilizing various tools and techniques that connect you with potential opportunities in an efficient manner.
Youve earned links and coverage by conducting ongoing reactive PR activity.
Experience ideating and running content campaigns that have earned links through outreach.
Building outreach lists of relevant journalists/sites and securing coverage.
You live and breathe on the platforms where journalists place requests for expert commentary.
Youre a planner. You know the right times places and significant moments in the year to conduct outreach and youve already got campaigns ready to outreach.
Follow up on coverage to convert mentions to links
You can analyse and report on the success of a campaign.
Nice to haves:
You have existing relationships with journalists at toptier media publications that we can leverage.
Load shedding: You must be able to guarantee power and internet during working hours.
