Currently we are partnered with a preferred client in search of a highly talented Software Developer.

Job Summary:

Software Developer to help enable NGAs Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) mission collecting sciences technology and tradecraft measuring and modeling the Globe to provide threedimensional accuracy of every point in on or above the Earth.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support the development of mission critical capabilities migrated to modern cloudbased environments
• Utilize DevSecOps technologies for deployment automation serviceoriented architectures and modern code management tools and programming languages
• Architect and develop software for an application modernization project
• Work with the mission to transform existing enterprise software into modern cloudnative applications
• Reduce the time to launch and increase release frequency
• Develop code approaches to modernize the government customers tools stack and deploy them to AWS cloud

Qualifications:

I. Education:

• BS in Information Systems Information Technology Computer Science or closely related discipline

II. Experience:

• 8 years of prior relevant experience or masters with 6 years of prior relevant experience
• Strong expertise in C Visual Basic.NET and C#
• Proficient in software development projects or software integration projects in a serviceoriented environment (Cloud SOA WebServices)
• Demonstrated handson experience with relational and nonrelational database systems such as Amazon RDS Postgres SQL
• Experience with Webrelated protocols and technologies such as web servers HTTP SSL
• Experience with AWSbased architectures and tools

III. License(s)/Certification(s):

• Must possess an active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI post hire

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

• Proactive selfstarter
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Understanding of custom code development/reviews
• Familiarity with DevSecOps methodologies and workflow
• Knowledge of SW Development and SW Sustainment Practices
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD (preferred)
• AWS certification (e.g. Developer DevOps Engineer Solutions Architect) (preferred)
• Experience with ArcGIS or geospatial technologies (preferred)
