Qatar Airways are excited to be launching a new opportunity to join our Global Sales team as a Manager Key Accounts.
As a Manager Key Accounts, you will be responsible for supporting the country vision in increasing both the number of passengers traveling exclusively to Qatar and the number of transit passengers who break their journey in Qatar, by developing profitable products and building synergies between key players.
You will be focusing on driving revenue and best practice adoption through deep understanding of customers’ needs, challenges and opportunities within their business, and recommending tailored account plans and solutions by delivering strategic advice to drive customer success.
Additionally, you will be handling identification, acquisition, implementation, development, and retention of a line of business that Qatar Airways manages and develops globally.
As part of your daily responsibilities, you will also:
• Act as a liaison between Qatar airways Group, and partners ensuring all parties’ strategic objectives are translated into actionable/profitable plans by field offices.
• Provide robust analysis, review and develop solutions to increase Passenger bookings from respective markets to/via Qatar.
• Managing accounts and products across the full sales cycle (identification, acquisition, implementation, development, and retention) for the identified line of business. For all accounts in the portfolio, account management applies for all points-of-sale and points-of-origin.
• Regularly run, read & interpret data analysis report and make strong commercial recommendations based on data, factoring in market conditions & competition activity.
• Manage administrative tasks related to the scope of work, including but not limited to review and filing of legal contracts, coordination of steering committees, workshops, preparation of status reports and effective communication to senior management.
• Achieve and exceed the assigned revenue target and personal revenue target for each financial year.
• Initiate and drive negotiations by conducting regular reviews with clients, to understand their requirements and provide them with competitive options to derive maximum revenue. Lead and participate in negotiations with new and existing clients to optimize the full potential of an air partnership, beneficial to both parties
• Develop revenue objectives and KPIs in conjunction with key stakeholders.
• Effectively manage and drive the performance of existing line of business and source new business opportunities through ownership and active management to develop quality revenue.
• Work in alignment with key internal stakeholders & working as part of a cross functional and regional team.
