Overview
The Marketing Automation Specialist plays a crucial role in designing executing and managing automated marketing campaigns and processes to drive customer engagement and lead generation. They are responsible for leveraging marketing automation platforms to develop and execute effective strategies streamline marketing processes and optimize customer interactions across various channels.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with marketing sales and IT teams to design and implement automated marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Develop and optimize marketing automation workflows including lead nurturing scoring and segmentation.
- Utilize marketing automation tools to create and manage multichannel marketing campaigns including email social media and paid digital advertising.
- Analyze campaign performance and user behavior data to optimize and personalize automated marketing efforts.
- Manage and maintain the marketing automation platform including database management integration with CRM systems and data hygiene best practices.
- Implement A/B testing and conduct experiments to improve campaign performance and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment of marketing automation initiatives with overall marketing and sales strategies.
- Provide training and support to marketing and sales teams for effectively utilizing marketing automation tools and features.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in marketing automation and related technologies.
- Contribute to the development of marketing automation strategies and roadmaps to achieve business objectives.
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business or related field.
- Proven experience (X years) in marketing automation CRM systems and email marketing.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using marketing automation platforms such as Marketo HubSpot or Pardot.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in interpreting data to derive actionable insights.
- Experience in developing and optimizing automated marketing campaigns and workflows.
- Proficiency in HTML CSS and JavaScript for customizing email templates and landing pages within marketing automation platforms.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Certifications in marketing automation platforms or related technologies is a plus.
- Understanding of GDPR and other relevant data privacy regulations.
- Proactive and innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and optimization.
