Location: 1221 E Broad St Richmond Virginia

Note: This is a hybrid position and at least 3 days / work onsite required

Job Description:

• Gain broad understanding of the VDOT innovation framework
  
• Use the innovative/latest tools and best practices to build applications using the Power Platform and ArcGIS
  
• Follow all applicable industry and VDOT standards processes and Protocols
  
• Engage multiple customers and develop applications to meet their needs
  
• Manage stakeholder communications and expectations
  
• Process mapping experience
  
• Code Documentation
  
• Writing Requirements/Scope documents
  
• Writing usecases
  
• using architectural artifacts
  
• interpreting solution architectures
  
• Excellent written and oral communication
  
• Customer focused collaboration
  
• Ability to travel around the state as needed
  
• Minimum of three days in the office to work with the rest of the team.
  

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years programming experience in a high level compiled language such as C# C Java
  
• Minimum of 5 years experience with scripting languages such as java script and Python
  
• Minimum of 2 years experience with Microsoft Power Platform to include PowerApps Power Automate SharePoint and Data verse. (Hard Requirement)
  
• Minimum of 5 years experience using GIS for creating dynamic mapping applications and processing realtime location data.
  
• Minimum of 5 years experience using REST Full APIS
  
• Other Software Knowledge: Visio Visual Studio Code/Visual Studio Community Edition SQL Server Azure Data lakes and Warehouse Oracle ArcGIS Pro ArcGIS Online ArcGIS Experiences.
  

Required Skills:

• Programming experience in a high level compiled language such as C# C Java
  
• Experience with scripting languages such as java script and Python
  
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform to include PowerApps Power Automate SharePoint
