You will work in the role of GIS specialist with a focus on designing and implementing map services (viewing cabinets) in ArcGIS. The work also includes defining processes and establishing routines and method support as a basis for developed data management and GIS operations.
There is also a great need to support the business in defining requirements for new data i.e. requiring data from businessspecific IT systems so that they become applicable for analysis and visualization in the GIS platform.
ArcGIS and FME are mainly used and a large part of the mission aims to develop working methods and provide support to the users in this.
The consultant must participate independently and in his development team and carry out assigned tasks as well as make suggestions for development and improvement.
The development team works according to DevOps and is responsible for the GIS platform throughout its life cycle development quality assurance operation and monitoring of production and test environments.
You must be selfmotivated and work well in a group. We also value other personal qualities such as flexibility curiosity and humility highly.
Requirements
- Define needs and specify requirements together with the business and end users
- Implement functions in the GIS platforms various viewing cabinets that the team manages
- Monitor and operate the system including development with the supplier and monitoring functionality
- Explore and analyze geodata
- Build POCs to test different ideas and concepts
- We apply an agile mindset and agile methodologies in what we do. Work with other products/teams will also occur within the scope of the assignment.
Benefits
The assignment can be carried out both remotely and onsite at the office on Kungsholmen in Stockholm. Days and times for this are controlled as needed in the agile team.
