Job Description

At Prevas we lead the way in innovative solutions making technology work for our clients. We are looking for a System Engineer Automation and Controls to join our dynamic team and help craft the future of automation.

Role Overview

As a System Engineer specialising in Automation and Controls you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing hightech control systems. Your primary duty will involve building testing and maintaining automation systems that enhance efficiency and functionality across a variety of industrial applications. A typical day could see you collaborating with multidisciplinary teams engaging in client consultations or optimising existing systems to drive performance benefits or develop complete new automation systems..

Key Responsibilities

  • Design develop and maintain cuttingedge automation and control systems.
  • Analyse system requirements and recommend solutions aligned with client needs.
  • Perform regular diagnostics and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Create comprehensive documentation and reports for technical specifications and project milestones.
  • Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to integrate solutions effectively.

Who You Are

We believe you are a detailorientedengineer with a passion for innovation in automation technology. You bring a solid engineering background and a knack for problemsolving making you adept at overcoming technical challenges. A forwardthinking professional you recognise that effective engineering solutions require both creativity and precision.

Required Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in automation and control systems design and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming and HMI/SCADA systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within crossfunctional teams.
  • Ability to travel globally for longer periods of time.
