Impact Hub Berlin is looking for a Senior People and Culture Lead toattract hire retain engage review and develop talent (people) while creating great conditions for collaboration (culture) that contribute to our organisations mission and financial sustainability.

About Impact Hub Berlin

We empower entrepreneurs and organisations to create innovative solutions for people and the planet. Founded in 2014 we coordinate a community of impactdriven members host a creative space for engaging events and run a consultancy for social innovation and sustainability. As part of the Impact Hub global network made up of 100 locations and more than 16000 members were both locally rooted and globally connected in our mission to help achieve the UNs Sustainable Development Goals.

Throughout its first seven years Impact Hub Berlin has built an extensive network and strong expertise in supporting social entrepreneurs and organisations to design build and scale impactful solutions to the SDGs. In 2022 we scaled up! We opened Europes largest Impact Hub a 3500m2 collaborative coworking and community space in Berlin Neuklln and we want you to be a part of this journey.

Your deliverables

  • Assess the businesss staffing needs and lead the recruiting process to interview and hire new employees;
  • Lead the onboarding/offboarding processes when team members join/leave the team;
  • Drive the Organisational development processes including organisational structure and development talks;
  • Prepare and negociate salary grid placements as well as constant improvement of our salary grid
  • Set up conflict resolution spaces when needed;
  • Organize learning and development programs as well astrainings (1 per semester) for the whole team;
  • Design and implement company policies that promote a healthy work environment;
  • Organise and perform reviews twice a year through Leapsome (360 in Autumn and Salary appraisals in Jan/Feb);
  • Develop the culture and support deliver the employee experience as well as the regular organisation of Makers Monthly.

Your qualifications and skills

  • Proven work experience and/or studies as HR Manager or similar role
  • Handson experience with Human Resources Information Systems (including payroll systems and ATS)
  • Good understanding of German labor legislation
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Project managementskills
  • Ability to foster healthy employee relations
  • Advanced German and English required.
  • An MSc degree in HR or relevant certification is a plus

  • Remuneration based on compensable factors of our compensation model;For this role we will be able to offer 42000 to 52000 gross per year depending on your grid placement.
