We are looking for a working student in Kitchen / Culinary (m/f/d) for our Maschinenraum as soon as possible.
The Maschinenraum is a shared innovation ecosystem of German mediumsized and familyowned companies aimed at better understanding and shaping future topics together more boldly. At the same time Maschinenraum is a coinnovation space located in the heart of Berlin spread over 4500 square meters and 7 floors. In addition to the reception and a caf area the Maschinenraum offers visitors event and workshop spaces as well as around 200 workstations. This makes it a place for innovative modern companies and inspiring encounters.
What youll do
As a working student (m/f/d) in our caf you will provide our members and event guests with a variety of homemade bowls sandwiches and other dishes. With your culinary skills and passion you will charm your surroundings with your creations. Thanks to your attentive nature and helpfulness you will also be an important point of contact for our members.
Your tasks include:
- Preparing meals in our inhouse caf
- Preparing snacks and lunch dishes for our internal event catering
- Following the cleaning schedule and ensuring cleanliness and order in all areas
- Assisting with community and external events
- Supporting the Building Operations Team with other tasks

Requirements
This is you
Food cooking and baking are your passions. You are naturally communicative open and attentive and you enjoy working in a team. Thanks to your quick comprehension you can prioritize well and have the organizational skills to successfully execute tasks. Your independent and solutionoriented way of working allows you to keep calm and smile even in stressful situations.
Additionally you bring the following qualifications:
- Enrolled at a college or university
- Initial experience in the hospitality industry e.g. through a parttime job or internship
- Strong service orientation and a neat appearance
- English and German language skills (at least B1 level)
