• A wellestablished Engineering Firm located in NW Austin is looking to add a Director of Commissioning (Cx) to their team.
• This person will be responsible for the commissioning process for MEP systems on a variety of different new construction and renovation projects.
• This includes assisting the Project Managers in executing duties during the construction administration phase of each project.
• This is a directhire opportunity with a stable company that offers great benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review projects in the commissioning phase with all departments involved and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Strong knowledge of the commissioning process with the ability to facilitate ongoing improvements based on new technology.
• Lead mentor and develop a strong commissioning team.
• Develop prefunctional checklists for MEP systems master deficiency logs and project commissioning plans per project.
• Projects may include LEED Cx efforts AEGB Cx requirements and IECC minimum Cx
• Assist with RFQ project writeups and interviews.
• Maintain existing client relationships and participate in developing new relationships.
• Coordinate MEP job observation site visit.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities: (Hiring Companies ATS Questions):

1. Do you have 10 years of industry experience with a strong focus in commissioning

2. Do you have a Bachelors or advanced degree in engineering or related industry experience.

3. Do you have PE license Commissioning Certification Energy Management or TAB certification preferred.

4. Do you have Strong knowledge of the commissioning process with the ability to facilitate ongoing improvements based on new technology.

5. Do you have Previous Project Management experience is required.

6. Do you have Proficiency with construction and commissioning software such as Procore PlanGrid Revu Bluebeam and CxAlloy.

7. Do you have Technical knowledge of MEP system design and operation

8. Do you have Knowledge of submittal review and RFI processes

9. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
