Role QE Test Automation Lead

Experience 10 to 15 Years

Location Glastonbury CT

Skills Required Java Test automation Selenium Cucumber API Testing

Technical Skills Primary

8 years experience in Quality Assurance with strong Testing Skills Java Selenium Cucumber

Understanding and Analyzing the Application Under Test in terms of Object Identification selenium automation testing roles and responsibilities

Creating Test scenarios and Collecting Test Data

Identifying end to end scenarios and code modularity

Implementing JUnit or TestNG Test Automation framework and developing automation infrastructure

Creating reusable components selenium tester roles and responsibilities

Creating and enhancing Test Cases Test Scripts using Element locators WebDriver methods Java programming concepts and TestNG Annotations

Error Handling Adding comments

Creating Data driven Tests and Running through the framework

Cross Browser Testing roles and responsibilities for selenium tester

Parallel Test Execution

Strong project management communication and client coordination skills

API Testing

Technical Skills Secondary Nice to have NOT MANDATORY

Working knowledge of Insurance Domain like Policy Admin Systems Property Casualty Insurance and processes and its integration with other systems

3 years of Experience in Agile Methodology

Experienced in Test Management Tools

Soft Skills

As this is an onsite role must have strong written and oral communication skills

Insurance Domain Knowledge

Strong ability to work with client stakeholders

Requirement Review and Work Effort Estimation

Understanding of Insurance and or reinsurance desirable OR Financial Accounting system experience desirable

Ability to easily move between multiple projects at any given time

Requires excellent communication skills analytic ability strong judgment and the ability to work directly with customers and IT management and staff

Requires the interest and ability to acquire a deep knowledge of business functions and systems and offer application development technological alternatives

Strong interpersonal communication skills

College degree Computer Science or other related field preferred
