Within a leading insurance company in Belgium the P&C IT department oversees the daytoday management security and technical and functional development of P&C insurance applications (Fire Motor Miscellaneous Risks) for customers brokers partners and employees.
As a Project Manager you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating various projects across different IT teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Structuring and Organization: Actively structure and organize projects related to the organization s IT applications.
- Scoping and Planning: Collaborate with key stakeholders to define the project scope identify solutions and develop implementation plans including required resources and budgets while maintaining a highlevel overview.
- Coordination and Monitoring: Coordinate organize and monitor project activities aligning them with individual skills and client needs.
- Team Support and Advising: Provide advice and support to the project team to create a highperformance environment.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple IT projects (small and mediumsized) simultaneously.
- Progress Reporting: Keep an overview of the projects report on progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Documentation: Prepare regular reports on project progress issues encountered decisions made and actions to be taken. Maintain comprehensive uptodate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Your Profile:
- 5 years of experience in IT Project Management
- Experience in the insurance sector
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical abilities and effective priority management
- Teamoriented and resultsdriven
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile etc.) is a plus
- Excellent command of French and/or Dutch and English with a good understanding of the second national language
