IT Project Manager

Within a leading insurance company in Belgium the P&C IT department oversees the daytoday management security and technical and functional development of P&C insurance applications (Fire Motor Miscellaneous Risks) for customers brokers partners and employees.

As a Project Manager you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating various projects across different IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Structuring and Organization: Actively structure and organize projects related to the organization s IT applications.
  
• Scoping and Planning: Collaborate with key stakeholders to define the project scope identify solutions and develop implementation plans including required resources and budgets while maintaining a highlevel overview.
  
• Coordination and Monitoring: Coordinate organize and monitor project activities aligning them with individual skills and client needs.
  
• Team Support and Advising: Provide advice and support to the project team to create a highperformance environment.
  
• Project Management: Oversee multiple IT projects (small and mediumsized) simultaneously.
  
• Progress Reporting: Keep an overview of the projects report on progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  
• Documentation: Prepare regular reports on project progress issues encountered decisions made and actions to be taken. Maintain comprehensive uptodate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  

Requirements

Your Profile:

• 5 years of experience in IT Project Management
  
• Experience in the insurance sector
  
• Excellent communication skills
  
• Strong analytical abilities and effective priority management
  
• Teamoriented and resultsdriven
  
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile etc.) is a plus
  
• Excellent command of French and/or Dutch and English with a good understanding of the second national language
