DZ drivers

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced DZ Driver to join their team. As a DZ Driver you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods to their clients throughout the region. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about logistics has a strong work ethic and enjoys being on the road.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive company vehicles in compliance with all traffic regulations and safety protocols
  
• Load and unload goods according to delivery schedules and ensure safe handling of all items
  
• Conduct pretrip and posttrip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
  
• Plan and follow efficient routes to minimize delivery time and fuel costs
  
• Communicate with dispatchers and customers to provide updates on delivery status
  
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures and documentation from clients
  
• Adhere to company and industry regulations and policies at all times
  

Qualifications:

• Valid DZ license required Clean CVOR/abstract
  
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a DZ driver
  
• An insurance document confirming having auto insurance coverage for 3 years as a DZ license holder
  
• A job/experience letter from the past employer showing at least 3 years of experience.
  
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
  
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items on a regular basis
  
• Availability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends and overtime
