Job Title: Client Technologies Technician (onsite)
Location: Miami / Tallahassee / Lake Butler FL
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the US (any work authorization)
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extension(s)
Earliest Start Date: ASAP
Seniority: Sr.
Musthave skills: 7 y in the USA; Current 2 years of experience as a Tier 2 Customer Support for desktop computers printers scanners etc.; Up to 5 y old outd: Windows Operating System (OS) Office Outlook and Internet Explorer; criminal justice exp; exp with TCP/IP or VPN or VOIP
Additional information: The candidate should be able to provide an ID if the interview is requested. The candidate interviewing must be the same individual who will be assigned to work with our client.
Requirements:
Experience using Workspace ONE UEM and Google Workspace (2 years);
Experience providing Tier 2 support and determining the technical configurations and settings for mobile devices to comply with client policies (2 years);
Experience maintaining and deploying software updates;
Experience managing iOS and Android devices with a mobile device management solution.
Preferred:
Experience solving computer problems over the phone and troubleshooting PC and peripheralrelated problems;
Experience with Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) protocols;
Experience in installing and troubleshooting 3270 emulation software;
Experience installing diagnosing and repairing hardware to include but not be limited to hard drives Random Access Memory (RAM) processors Compact Disc Rewritable (CDRW) Digital Versatile Disk Rewritable (DVDRW) multimedia kits and other peripherals;
Experience using imaging software for deploying desktop PCs;
Experience providing Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone support and Virtual Private Network (VPN) client support;
Experience working for a criminal justice agency;
Experience with IT standards in a criminal justice environment;
Experience supporting end users in a criminal justice environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Work within the Bureau of Infrastructure and Operations to develop maintain and enforce mobile device security and policy;
Provide Tier 2 support for mobile devices such as phones tablets and devices identified as mobile;
Assist the Infrastructure and Operations bureaus with analysis testing and deployment of devices applications and updates;
Provide expertise in Workspace ONE Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) Google Workspace Email Quarantine device resetunenrollmentreenrollment and MDM policy management;
Assist in determining the technical configurations and settings for mobile devices to comply with client policies including the configuration of all tiers involved mobile device MDM solution client network and Microsoft Office 365;
Identify business and technological drivers that motivate the project as well as collect data about current systems procedures and performance and identify business and technological impacts on current and future processes;
Assist with establishing a reliable and efficient process for mobile device management including provisioning deprovisioning and support.
