الوصف الوظيفي

The Construction Manager will lead a construction supervision team. He/she will have a proven track record of advising on the daytoday coordination of works supervising and certifying construction in accordance with contract conditions preparing various project reports and coordinating the review and update of designs and cost estimates as required.

  • Report to the Project Manager as part of daytoday delivery.
  • Act as the company representative with the client and selected subcontractors during program execution.
  • Direct manage and supervise the construction management team and subcontractors.
  • Be responsible for overall work progress technical performance quality and cost of the assigned work package project. Approve procurement materials and method statements.
  • Ensure that the approved project plans (execution plan quality plan safety plan etc.) are being adhered to and implemented by the contractors/subcontractors.
  • Ensure the efficiency and quality of the construction work to meet program objectives and budget.
  • Coordinate with other functional managers to ensure correct implementation of program governance stakeholder management coordination specifications and standards.
  • Implement the projects construction schedule and participate in preparing weekly/monthly progress reports.
  • Manage client requirements and advise on all technical engineering matters.
  • Provide professional and technical innovation advice and support to the operation team to assist with the safe and effective delivery of activities.
  • Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.
  • Follow up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.
  • Develop the Safety Management Plan and ensure the Safety Management System is being strictly adhered to.
  • Develop the QA/QC Management Plan and ensure procedures and standards are being implemented and followed.
  • Manage the preparation of the Site Progress Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reports.
  • Ensure perceived project risks are communicated to the Project Manager.
  • Monitor and review subcontractors performance provide regular objective feedback on progress and deal immediately with poor performance.



Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Architecture or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager in civil and architectural projects.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural design and fitout techniques.
  • Excellent construction management and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with construction safety standards and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fluent in English (read write and speak).


Experience Required:

  • More than 10 years as a strategic and operations executive in a range of dynamic startup growth and stable corporate environments.
  • Management of complex matrixed team environments across multiple cultures.
