Job Title: Manager Laboratory (Lab)

Location: DeLand FL

Duration: 12months

Job Description;

• Manage daytoday laboratory operations and ensure efficient workflow.
• Supervise and support lab staff including hiring training and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures.
• Monitor and improve lab performance including quality control test accuracy and turnaround times.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure it is functioning correctly and safely.
• Prepare and manage the laboratory budget.
• Stay current with advancements in laboratory techniques and technology.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Medical Technology Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory regulations including CLIA CAP and OSHA standards.
• Excellent leadership organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in laboratory information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters degree in a related field.
• Certification by a recognized certifying agency such as ASCP AMT or AAB

Strong knowledge of laboratory regulations, including CLIA, CAP, and OSHA standards. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
