STRUCTURAL BIM COORIDNATOR

Structural BIM Coordinator to join our team. As a Structural BIM Coordinator you will play a crucial role in overseeing the implementation and coordination of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for our structural projects. You will collaborate closely with architects engineers and other stakeholders to ensure that BIM models are accurate consistent and support the overall project goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage BIM execution plans (BEPs) for structural projects outlining the BIM requirements standards and workflows.
• Coordinate with project teams to implement BIM throughout all project phases including design construction and handover.
• Review and validate structural models created by design teams for accuracy completeness and adherence to project standards.
• Conduct clash detection and resolution using BIM software to identify and resolve conflicts among different building systems.
• Collaborate with architects engineers and contractors to integrate structural BIM models with architectural and MEP models.
• Prepare and present BIM models and drawings for client meetings and internal reviews.
• Provide training and support to project teams on BIM tools and workflows.
• Stay current with industry trends BIM technologies and best practices to continuously improve project delivery and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Architecture or related field.
• Proven experience (9 years) working as a BIM Coordinator or similar role in the structural engineering or construction industry.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit AutoCAD Navisworks and other related tools.
• Strong understanding of structural design and construction processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
• Certification in BIM (e.g. Autodesk Certified Professional) is a plus.
