• First 2 years: Tanzania (Various Locations)
• 3rd year: Jakarta Indonesian Head Office

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Business EnglishMandarin Translator to join our team. This role is critical in facilitating seamless communication between our executives and local partners government officials and other stakeholders in Tanzania. The successful candidate will be based in Tanzania for the first two years followed by a transfer to the Indonesian Head Office in Jakarta for the third year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translation and Interpretation: Provide accurate and highquality translation of business documents presentations and correspondence from English to Mandarin and vice versa.
• Simultaneous Interpretation: Offer realtime interpretation services during meetings conferences and negotiations between executives and local counterparts.
• Cultural Bridging: Facilitate crosscultural communication by understanding and respecting the cultural nuances of both Chinese and Tanzanian business practices.
• Documentation: Assist in the preparation and translation of legal documents contracts and other formal agreements.
• Relationship Management: Support executives in building and maintaining relationships with local business partners government officials and other stakeholders.
• Market Research: Conduct market research and provide insights into local business practices opportunities and potential challenges.

Qualifications:

• Willingness to relocate to Tanzania for two years and return to Jakarta for the third year.
• Language Proficiency: Native or nearnative proficiency in both Mandarin and English.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in translation and interpretation preferably in a business or corporate setting.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Translation Linguistics Business or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Cultural Awareness: Indepth understanding of Chinese and Tanzanian cultures and business practices.
• Professionalism: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost professionalism.
