Job Requirements:

• Understanding of basic Unix System Administration (CentOS Solaris RedHat).
• Administrative experience in User Management using NIS Process/Daemon Management and Package Management.
• Understanding of Unix Filesystems along with working knowledge of NFS.
• Knowledge on Unix Performance Management and Troubleshooting using native tools like top/sar/ps/iostat/vmstat etc.
• Basic understanding of administering DNS DHCP postfix sendmail cron etc.
• Basic knowledge of Shell scripting (BASH).
• Understanding of system logs and how to read them.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge on ITIL best practices of request / incident / change management.
• Acknowledge incidents / requests and allocate appropriate priority.
• Recording Tracking and updating ticket information in ServiceNow.
• Escalate incidents which are beyond service levels to next level teams.
• Provide first level support to users for any Unix related issues including but not limited to incidents requests email phone support.
