We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to join our clients team providing essential onsite preventive maintenance calibration installation and training services across various product lines. This vital role includes offering technical support and assistance to customers identifying potential sales opportunities and operating predominantly in the field with support from a centrally located office in Breda for administrative and support functions.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive technical support to customers in the southern region of The Netherlands.
- Conduct onsite maintenance calibration and repair of laboratory instruments at customer locations.
- Offer remote support to customers via telephone.
- Facilitate customer training on the correct usage and upkeep of the instruments.
- Engage in collaboration with different business units to support the companys goals.
- Utilize and manage the CRM system (SAP) for accurate information reporting and tracking.
- Assist in promoting service contracts to enhance customer engagement and support.
Requirements
- A background in Engineering Mechanics Electronics or related fields with relevant experience.
- Proficient in using measuring instruments and hand tools.
- Knowledge of IT and network systems is advantageous.
- Demonstrated problemsolving skills and creative thinking.
- A solid track record in customer service roles.
- High customer service orientation with proactive responsible and organized work ethics.
- Independent working capability with minimal supervision.
- Preparedness for frequent travel to client locations within The Netherlands.
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written in English.
- Possession of a valid Drivers License.

You have a vocational level 4 diploma in Process Operation Technology (AOT), Mechanical Engineering (WTB), or Vapro C; You have a REWIC certificate or are willing to obtain it; You are initiative-driven, proactive, flexible, stress-resistant, and goal-oriented; You have a critical eye and analytical thinking skills; You can work independently as well as in a team; You have excellent communication skills.
