CNC Programmer

Title: CNC Programmer Shift: 1st shift

Type: Full time/Direct placement Pay: $28hr $35hr

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting chucks tools bushings cams gears stops and stock pushers.
• Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models. Programs mills by entering instructions including zero and reference points offsets. Loading raw materials into the CNC machine.
• Verifies settings by measuring positions firstrun part and sample pieces Inputting the product design into the computer modeling software.
• Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job. Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications.
• Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
• Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.
• Cleaning and maintaining the machine Training new staff on machine operation procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent Previous work experience as a CNC programmer Ability to read and interpret design blueprints.
• Extensive experience with computer modeling software. G&M code programming experience Injection molding experience is a plus.
