Job Description

MasterTech is on the search for a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer in Salt Lake City.

The Machinist/Programmer will be responsible for:
  • Programming set up and operation of Mazak Machines utilizing Mazatrol programming language.
  • Troubleshooting machinery and operating mills and lathes.
  • Collaborating with engineers and designers to interpret blueprints CAD models and technical drawings.
  • Develop and implement efficient machining strategies that boost productivity.
  • Training and mentoring junior Machinists.
  • Curating a clean and safe work environment.
Key Qualifications:
  • 5 or more years of experience in the trade with leadership experience preferred but not required.
  • Highly proficient with Mazak Mazatrol.
  • Excellent understanding of GCode programming and CNC Machining principles.
  • Experience programming with Mastercam Software.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Compensation:
  • $30.00 $48.00/hour to start.
  • 100% employer paid benefits for the individual. Family benefit plan available. Includes medical dental vision and life insurance contributions paid time off 401K with matching contributions etc.
Shift:
  • 6AM start time Monday to Friday. 1012 hour days averaging around 52 hour work weeks. Overtime paid after 40 hours per week.
