Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
The CNC Installation Technician will possess mechanical skills and some knowledge of electrical theory and principles. Primary duties include:
- Traveling to customer sites to install various CNC machine types and related equipment.
- Using machine tool manuals technical documents and internal/vendor resources to ensure successful machine installations.
- Ensuring accurate documentation is completed and submitted to both the office and customer regarding machine issues and status.
- Testing all machine functions and installed options to ensure proper operation and successful installation.
- Willingness to undergo training to maintain an indepth understanding of the company s CNC machine tools and product lines.
Job Qualifications/Competencies:
- 35 years of validated experience in CNC Maintenance or Mechanical Maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and product drawings.
- Strong technical communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite email and other business software.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
- Flexibility to work varying hours including some overnight travel.
- Frequent travel throughout the regional territory is required.

Mental and Physical Requirements:
- Must be highly mobile and able to access all areas of customer premises.
- Ability to stay focused and manage multiple tasks responsibilities and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to perform bending twisting stooping reaching and lifting of materials up to 50 lbs with assistance.
- Frequent use of hands and arms is required.
- Vision abilities required include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations while interacting with customers and coworkers.
